Annual Outing by cars to North Nottinghamshire area.
9.30 am to 10.15 am - Gringley on the Hill (St. Peter & St. Paul), DN10 4QP, (6, 14 cwt).
Toilet available; park down side street; 2 miles to next tower.
10.30 am to 11.20 am - Clayworth (St. Peter), DN22 9AB (8, 8 cwt).
See the beautiful Traquair murals in the nave. Some church parking spaces or park in Town Street. 6 miles to next tower.
11.45 am to 12.30 pm - Sutton cum Lound (St. Bartholomew), DN22 8PL, (8, 9 cwt).
Toilet available. Church car park is immediately in front of church. 5 miles to lunch pub.
12.45 pm to 2.30 pm - Lunch break. An optional pub lunch has been arranged at Chequers Inn, Ranby, DN22 8HT.
It has lots of outdoor seating and backs onto a canal.

The church is located in extensive grounds and not easy to find - satnav is misleading. From the pub, drive 3 miles along A620 towards Retford, immediately after a crossroads marked "Sutton cum Lound" and "Morton", turn left down a narrow driveway. Carry on down this long narrow driveway for half a mile and there is a car park near the church.
Historic church with connections to the Pilgrim Fathers.
Toilet available. 2 miles to next tower.
4.00 pm to 5.00 pm - East Retford (St. Swithin), DN22 6PL,(10, 23 cwt).
Suggest park in Churchgate car park, DN22 6PE. £2 for 2 hours.
3 miles to next tower.
5.30 pm to 6.15 pm - Clarborough (St. John the Baptist), DN22 9NA, (8, 9 cwt, ground floor ring).
Parking is outside church in Church Lane. Toilet available.
